I was curious if the CoX client can be configured using a DNS name to point to a SEGS server rather than a specific IP address. I have a DYNDNS service that I use for other stuff that I can use to connect to my home system and it works great, but it uses DNS resolution to connect instead of a statically configured IP address. I'll give it a try and see how it goes, but maybe someone already knows the answer.

Thanks, and HAPPY NEW (SEGS) YEAR!!!!

Just seeing this. More action/discussion in our discord.segs.io

I believe this was working with one of the public servers hosted by our contributor Dracc. That said, another user had a longer domain it wouldn't "fit in the box" for cox-auth.exe, so YMMV.

In either case, we could use some help with a LauncherTool if you know anyone with the skillset: https://github.com/Segs/Segs/issues/676
